GETTING TO THE VENUE
To the Gold Coast:
Flights – into Brisbane International airport with rail or airport shuttle to the Gold Coast and around the Gold Coast.
Light rail is the easiest, but bus services also operate
Standard taxi or ride share also available but this is a 91km (approximately 1 hour trip) which can be quite expensive.
Arriving by Train
Train services are available from Brisbane Airport to the GCCEC. These services are operated by Translink QLD, which depart from the International Airport Station, Platform 1 as well as from the Domestic Airport Station Platform 1.
Arriving by Tram/Light Rail known as the G-Link. Broadbeach North is the station to disembark for the GCCEC conference venue.
The go explore Gold Coast card is the easiest way for visitors to get around the Gold Coast offering unlimited one day TransLink Gold Coast bus and tram travel. Visitors can use the card to access the best beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and attractions by day and night! The go explore card includes Airport bus 777 to and from airport, plus Theme Park express bus services.
Visitors simply touch on and off for each TransLink Gold Coast bus or tram service.
And if one day is not enough, visitors can reload the go explore card with up to 8 day’s travel passes as you board any TransLink bus or at trams stations.
go explore Gold Coast cards are available for sale online, or from selected retailers including Gold Coast 7-Eleven and NightOwl stores, hotel desks, tourist information centres, selected hotel desks and from TransLink Info kiosks located at Cavill Avenue and Broadbeach South tram stations.
Arriving by Car/Taxi/Rideshare
